In Loving Memory of Professor Mario Sanna — The Great Maestro
It is with profound sadness that I bid farewell to Professor Mario Sanna, a dear friend, an extraordinary surgeon, and one of the world’s leading figures in Otology and Skull Base Surgery.
Mario was much more than a brilliant surgeon. He was a visionary, an inspiring teacher, and an exceptional human being whose passion, dedication, and generosity touched generations of surgeons around the world.

I feel deeply privileged to have shared his friendship and to have witnessed his extraordinary legacy firsthand.
The Maestro may have left the stage, but his teachings, his spirit, and his legacy will live on forever.
Rest in peace, my dear friend Mario. Your absence will be deeply felt, but your memory will never be forgotten.
